The DAS-8PGA and DAS-8/AO are 8 channel 12-bit analog/digital input/output boards for the IBM PC/XT/AT and compatibles. The eight analog input channels are individually switch selectable for either differential or single-ended inputs, and offer nine software selectable input ranges (+10 V, +5 V, +0.5 V, +0.05 V, +0.01 V, 0 to 10 V, 0 to 1 V, 0 to 0.1 V and 0 to 0.02). Both cards provide four digital outputs bits and three digital input bits. A three-channel counter/timer can be used as an A/D pacer clock, and/or can be used to measure or generate frequency, measure pulse width, count events, etc. Complete access to the computer's interrupt bus is available at the card's I/O connector for those wishing to use interrupt based software programs.

The DAS-8/AO also provides 2 channels of analog output with the following switch selectable ranges: 0 to 5 V, 0 to 10 V, + 2.5 V, +5 V, +10 V.

Utility software is included with both cards. The software contains driver routines callable form BASIC as well as test programs.
